"I'm running for State Assembly to change the tone - away from divisive identity politics and towards helping families realize the American dream. This vision begins with affordability - we need to build more homes to lower prices for young families, reduce property taxes, and foster a competitive, transparent, market-driven health care system to lower costs for everyone."

My Priorities:

1. Reducing Costs for Families:

The state is fortunate to have a budget surplus. In other words, we paid too much tax. If you send me to Madison, I will work to ensure these excess funds are returned to you, the taxpayer, to help you make ends meet as rising costs continue to take a toll on our family budgets.

2. Keeping our Communities Safe:

Safe communities are essential and a top priority for families in Northeast Wisconsin and across the state. In 2015, I retired from active duty law enforcement. During my career, I focused on implementing innovative policing strategies, improving community services, and training the next generation of officers. My experience in the field will bring a unique and valuable perspective to Madison.

3. Address the Rising Cost of Healthcare:

Families across Wisconsin have experienced significant increases in their health care premiums. As your representative, I will fight for greater price transparency so you can shop around for the best value. I will also prioritize ensuring coverage for our most vulnerable populations - like those with pre-exisiting conditions and postpartum mothers with low incomes.

4. The Next Generation

As the father of three young men and a retired law enforcement instructor, I have firsthand experience in training the next generation. Our schools need resources to be successful but they also need to be accountable. Districts across the state are facing declining enrollment and we need strong leaders working to make sure our taxpayer money is spent responsibly and students, teachers, and administration are held to the highest standards possible.
